David Elkaim
David Elkaïm has been a screenwriter and director for more than 30 years. During his film studies, he wrote and performed as an actor in theater. He then rapidly started working in film and television, setting the basis for a long and prolific career. Simultaneously, he has continued to work the theater, and also as a film editor and teacher.

Besides developing his own projects, David Elkaïm also works as a script-doctor, drama coach and reader for the CNC and TV channels France 2 and M6. Out of a passion for sharing his experience, he has been teaching screenwriting since 1997 in workshops and renowned schools in France, such as Les Beaux-Arts de Paris and La Fémis, where he has been heading the TV series department together with Vincent Poymiro since 2018.

In 2012, David Elkaïm co-wrote with Vincent Poymiro the 3-season TV series "Ainsi Soient-Ils" broadcast on Arte in 2012 and 2015, and later on Netflix. Since then, he has co-written two feature films such as “Poissonsexe”, directed by Olivier Babinet, as well as several TV series together with Vincent Poymiro including “En Thérapie”, “Gone for Good”, and “La Chance de ta vie” (an original idea) which will be broadcast on RTS in 2021. Drawing on this experience, they have signed the development of another TV series with RTS, “The Other Girl”.

Vincent Poymiro
After studying literature, Vincent Poymiro began his career in journalism and live entertainment. In 1998, he moved towards screenwriting, inspired by the actors and burlesque artists he directed at the Samovar Theater, in Bagnolet. Afterwards, he worked on several projects, collaborating with Michel Muller, Sébastien Lifshitz, Olivier Nakache et Eric Tolédano, and the Saïan Supa Crew, while simultaneously writing for contemporary dance, burlesque, and physical theater.  

In 2004, he met Raphaël Nadjari, with whom he wrote the feature film “Téhilim”, accepted at the Official Selection of the 60th Cannes Film Festival. Currently, they work together on several projects, particularly in North America. 

In 2012, Vincent Poymiro co-wrote the 3-season TV series “Ainsi Soient-Ils” with David Elkaïm, broadcast on Arte in 2012 and 2015, and later on Netflix. The series was created with the producer Bruno Nahon and the director Rodolphe Tissot.

His passion and extensive experience have led him to teach screenwriting both in France – at the University of Poitiers and the CEEA – and abroad – at the SeriesLab and the Torino Film Lab. Since 2018, he has been heading the TV series department at La Fémis film school together with David Elkaïm.

In the past years, Vincent Poymiro has worked on various feature films, such as “Diamant Noir”, directed by Arthur Harari, and “Maryland”, directed by Alice Winocour. He has also co-written with David Elkaïm the TV series “Le Monde de Demain”, “En Thérapie”, “Gone for Good”, and “La Chance de ta Vie”, an original idea from the duo.

Jeremy Sahel
Founder and CEO of Da Prod, Jeremy Sahel is a producer specialized in research and development, as well as spotting new talents. After working together on a TV series project in 2018, the three of them joined forces with Perpetual Soup, a company where generosity and the human factor are placed at the core of its activities and the stories developed.

Following his studies in theology and medicine, Jeremy Sahel worked as a documentary director for 10 years. His passion for new technologies and his constant curiosity led him to create Da Prod in 2015 to accompany young talents and support innovative projects. After exploring the possibilities of YouTube, the company started to develop longer narrative projects such as TV series, web-series, documentaries and feature films. Jeremy Sahel also produces virtual reality projects: “I Saw the Future”, “Odyssey 1.4.9.”, and “Recoding Entropia”, selected in several festivals around the world – and receiving many prizes. 

Jeremy Sahel worked with Vincent Poymiro in his first film and wrote a TV series with David Elkaïm. Such an organic collaboration proved to be a fruitful one and became rather permanent. This is how Perpetual Soup was born.

Cyril Gautier
Cyril Gautier started his finance career in London working for 2 years at Société Générale in TMT acquisition financing followed by a 3+ year position at private equity boutique Pioneer Point Partners. 

Willing to get closer to artistic projects, he then came back to Paris to study cultural project management. He then joined Left Productions, an advertising agency focused on Youtube & Facebook adds before working for over two years as a freelance financial advisor, administrator and/or production assistant for various startups (T'me Danse, Art Kids Paris, Atlas V, Studio MDE..). He joined Da Prod / Perpetual Soup in September 2018 working as COO and CFO.

Besides his role at Da Prod / Perpetual Soup, Cyril works as a food photographer.
